The overall design look of Bay2Bay Tours had to have an ocean/beach vibe that worked with their logo, colors, and business category. This needed to be balanced with an elite sophisticated style (not touristy) like their one-of-a-kind private boat tours. This was carried out in every design choice we made.
We made the main call-to-action button visible on every device in the header. The header was fixed to the top of the website on page scroll. With the call-to-action repeated at the bottom of the page. Bay2Bay loved their logo so we made sure it was very front and center.
Each tour has its own detailed landing page which we created a design template for. We wanted the page to function on its own for something like Google Ads or to share on social media promoting a special. We used jump links that scrolled to content for users to find what they want fast. Another neat feature is the responsive tables which look pixel-perfect on mobile using some advanced coding.
We will soon be integrating a 3rd party booking engine. For now, they are doing fine with a standard contact/booking form that generates an auto-responder.
